stuck at work thinking about the permian mass extinction again

had to pay a crazy electric bill today and yet 200 million years ago (two hundred million years) close to 99% (ninety nine percent) of all life on the planet suffocated to death while the oceans acidified and volcanoes belched fire across the single desert supercontinent and the ancestors of everything that is alive today were wrung like blood from a rag into the petri dish of mesozoic earth. and then it happened again when an asteroid from space from nowhere vaporized a hole in the atmosphere and caused the earth to be hotter than the surface of the sun for an instant. i gotta pay my gas bill tomorrow but luckily its not very expensive

nonspace.
